FOOD CULTURE TAKES OVER OFFICE
The illegal kitchen set up by unknown colleagues continues to churn out food at random times of the week. Nobody knows where the food comes from, but everyone seems to enjoy the new phenomena. The menu ranges from ayam masak merah to nasi goreng minyak sapi. Multiple cooks are competing to claim the title of master chef.
Company mulls pooling resources to start catering service should our AC work no longer allow us to pay the bills. We are already overstaffed with chefs; our problem is finding people to man the cleaning stations. Plates continue to pile up, causing conflict among colleagues.
NOT ALL INSULATION IS MADE EQUAL
Due to our experience with the standard pure foam insulation failing after some years, in the ceiling space above bathrooms where humidity is the highest, our company has transitioned to better insulation with rubberised shells. This insulation is both more weather resistant and water proof. We hope they will outlast our company.
Life’s but a walking shadow...
a poor AC that struts and frets his hour upon the stage and then is heard no more... except by servicemen like us, who are called upon to perform miracles.
There are stranger things in heaven and earth than we can dream of. We found this poor AC hanging namelessly and helplessly. We know not its story; we only hope it has served its time well.
CHANGING PERMIT SYSTEMS
As most of our work is within residential condominiums, we sometimes face issues entering customer homes when permit systems are changed or new guards are rotated in without being familiar with the contractor registration process. As such there are times when customers may have to wait while we figure things out. We would like to remind our dear customers to keep abreast of their condo registration processes for our AC work.
AKUNI TOO
HENSEM LA!
ACS IN THE SKY
Most of our work is done in terrifying heights. Some developers leave very little space for service teams such as us to reach and work on the outdoor units.
We would like to apologise to all the customers whos ACs we could not service due to our fear of heights.
THE BIGGEST TIP,
sometimes comes in the smallest packages. Our team received this handwritten note with a RM0.20 tip from a young girl in a condo in Kelana Jaya many years ago. The note is still in our office today.
Daniel and Amirul would like to wish the young girl good health!
STAFF DISCOVERS SUPER MC
One of our colleagues decided to take a few days off work to ride his motorbike up to Kuantan. On the way up, in the dead of night, he found a Super MC in the form of a fractured leg after getting involved in a minor accident.
He will remain anonymous to protect his privacy, but the rest of the team will have to carry his weight for the better half of two months (we don’t have that many people...).
Humor aside, we are grateful he is safe and recovering. We look forward to working him brutally to make up for the time he will be absent.
